Foodzzy

Foodzzy is a simple Android application 📱 for online food ordering. It is my solution of the project task for the Internshala Training on Android App Development.

About

• It is a demo food ordering app for Android. It connects with the server by the help of an API.
• This project is required for the partial fulfilment of the training curriculum provided by Internshala.
• This project covers all the topics taught in the training.
• This project doesn't use MVVM, MVC or MVP architecture as these were outside the scope of the training.

• Volley - Volley is an HTTP library that makes networking for Android apps easier and most importantly, faster.
• Picasso - A powerful image downloading and caching library for Android.
• Picasso Transformations - An Android transformation library providing a variety of image transformations for Picasso.
• Room Persistence Library - The Room persistence library provides an abstraction layer over SQLite to allow for more robust database access while harnessing the full power of SQLite.
• Gson - Gson is a Java library that can be used to convert Java Objects into their JSON representation and vice-versa.
• Material Components for Android - Modular and customizable Material Design UI components for Android
