🏁 Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Java 17+
• Node.js 18+
• PostgreSQL 14+
• Docker
• AWS account (optional for deployment)

📥 Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/seraph159/hotel-genie.git
   cd hotel-genie
   

2. Set up the backend:

   cd hms_backend
   ./mvnw clean install
   

   • 🛠 Configure src/main/resources/application.properties for PostgreSQL, Redis, and Stripe credentials.

3. Set up the frontend:

   cd ../hms_frontend
   npm install
   npm run build
   

4. Run the backend:

   cd ../hms_backend
   ./mvnw spring-boot:run
   

5. Run the frontend:

   cd ../hms_frontend
   npm run dev
   

6. Access the application:

   • 🌍 Frontend: http://localhost:3000
   • 🔗 Backend APIs: http://localhost:8080
