Go to the Releases page on this repository.
Download the file_organizer_gui.exe file from the latest release.
Place the executable file in the folder you wish to organize.
Run the application by double-clicking the .exe file.
If you prefer to run the application from the source code, follow these steps:
Clone this repository:
git clone [https://github.com/salmanrahman7/File-Organizer-App.git](https://github.com/salmanrahman7/File-Organizer-App.git)
Navigate to the project directory:
cd file-organizer
Run the Python script:
python file_organizer_gui.py
Select a Folder: Click the "Browse" button to choose the folder you want to organize.
Organize Files: Click the "Organize Files" button.
Done! The application will create new sub-folders (e.g., Images, Documents) and move the corresponding files into them. A success message will appear once the process is complete.
