Dockerized Task Manager

A complete full-stack Task Management Application built for the Docker deployment assignment.

Stack

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript served by Nginx
• Backend: Python 3.11, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Gunicorn
• Database: PostgreSQL 16 with persistent Docker volume
• Orchestration: Docker Compose with custom network, health checks, restart policies, and environment variables

Quick Start

docker --version
docker compose version
docker compose up -d --build

Open:

• Frontend: http://localhost:8080
• Backend health: http://localhost:5000/health

Demo account can be created from the UI using the Register form.
