Overview

The Exam Hall Seating Arrangement project is a PHP-based application designed to manage and automate seating arrangements for examinations. The system includes both an admin dashboard and a student dashboard, facilitating easy management of student data, rooms, and seating assignments.

Installation

To set up the project locally, follow these steps:

Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/jerry-619/Exam-hall-Seating-Arrangement.git

Navigate to the project directory:

cd Exam-hall-Seating-Arrangement
```
Ensure you have a web server with PHP support (e.g., XAMPP, WAMP).
Place the project files in the server's root directory (e.g., htdocs for XAMPP).
Import the database schema provided in the database.sql file.
Access the application via your web browser at http://localhost/Exam-hall-Seating-Arrangement.

Usage

Open your web browser and navigate to the application.
Admin users can log in to manage rooms, students, and generate seating arrangements.
Students can log in to view their assigned room and seat numbers.
For batch imports, use the Excel upload feature on the admin dashboard.
