Setup

To run this project locally, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/banking-app.git
   cd banking-app
   

2. Configure the MySQL database:

   • Create a database named banking_db.
   • Update the application.properties file with your MySQL credentials.

   spring.datasource.url=jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/banking_db
   spring.datasource.username=your_mysql_username
   spring.datasource.password=your_mysql_password
   

3. Install dependencies and build the project:

   mvn clean install
   

4. Run the application:

   mvn spring-boot:run
   

Usage

Once the application is running, you can interact with the API using tools like Postman or cURL.
