Installation and Setup

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed:

• Node.js (v14 or above)
• MongoDB (local or cloud-based)
• Git

Steps

1. Clone the Repository:

   git clone https://github.com/sahil25123/StaySphere
   cd staysphere
   

2. Install Dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Set Up Environment Variables: Create a .env file in the root directory and configure the following:

   PORT=3000
   MONGO_URI=<your_mongodb_connection_string>
   SESSION_SECRET=<your_session_secret>
   

4. Start the Application:

   npm start
   

5. Access the Application: Visit http://localhost:3000 in your browser.
