An interactive implementation of a chessboard on a web browser. Developed using front-end technologies HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, this project is a practical demonstration of the potential of web programming. This is a chess game developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It allows players to play chess directly in the browser.

1. Clone or download this repository to your computer.
2. Open the index.html file in your preferred browser.
3. The chessboard will be displayed on the page, ready to start playing.

𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀

• Piece Movement: To move a piece, click on the piece you want to move and then click on the destination square. If the move is valid, the piece will be moved. Otherwise, a warning message will be displayed.
• Game Rules: The game follows the traditional rules of chess, including special moves such as castling, en passant, and pawn promotion.
• Checkmate Detection: The game is capable of detecting when a player is in checkmate, ending the game and displaying a victory message for the winning player.
• Draw Detection: The game is capable of detecting draw situations, such as stalemate or repetition of moves, ending the game and displaying a draw message.

You can customize the appearance of the game by adjusting the CSS file (style.css). Change the colors, fonts, or any other property to fit your preferences.
